Start with the certificate holder and issuer
A distributor certificate should identify the manufacturer issuing the document and the company receiving the authorization. Check that the company named on the certificate is the company preparing your quotation. Then review the stated territory, reference, issue date and validity period.

Distributor authorization and product listings have different purposes
Distributor authorization describes the company’s supply relationship with the manufacturer. A product datasheet describes an individual model and its configuration. A listing or approval document should be matched to the equipment or assembly actually offered in your quotation.
For a fire pump, door or valve enquiry, ask for the relevant model documents alongside the company authorization. Check the proposed quantities, accessories and system requirements with the responsible engineers. A distributor certificate should not be treated as a blanket product listing for every item in a brand catalogue.
Define the equipment and service scope
Compliance BD handles NAFFCO enquiries for fire pumps, rated doors, valves, hydrant accessories and firefighting equipment. Share the BOQ, product schedule and project requirements so our team can identify the models and supporting documents relevant to the order.
Equipment supply and site services should be described separately in the quotation. Agree installation, testing, commissioning, handover and maintenance responsibilities where required. Confirm availability and delivery arrangements with the team for the particular order.
